See how you stack up

Three metrics let players compare themselves: experience (XP) accumulated across all games played, skill calculated over the last 200 games, and the best consecutive win streak. Every game setting — word length, number of allowed attempts, countdown timer, dictionary mode — affects the points earned.

Multiplayer leagues work like a tournament: the more participants, the higher the XP rewards. Only the top 15 to 20 % of players receive rewards — and the threshold adjusts when a league is small. Winning a league with 500 players earns XP that no amount of regular games could match; winning with 5 players is still an achievement, just a more modest one. The more participants there are, the higher the stakes.

How to climb the rankings?

Your rank updates after every game. Playing in a foreign language, enabling dictionary mode, or reducing the time limit increases difficulty and therefore rewards. Skill reflects your recent consistency: a run of strong performances pushes it up, even without a high XP total.
