Play to discover the word in a limited number of tries
Play as many games as you want for free, in 6 languages, and customize your experience.
WordsPuzzler isn't just another clone of the word game everyone knows: above all, it's the only word game of this kind to offer a massively asynchronous multiplayer competition, where each language opens its own leagues made up of several words to guess one after another, at your own pace, and where your skill level ranks you against other players. You can also create and share a unique game to challenge your friends.
Sign up to take part in the daily word, in our multiplayer leagues, record and compare your stats with other players, and enjoy features only available here.
Every game is shaped by three rules you control yourself: the length of the word, the number of tries you get, and the language you want to guess in. Pick the combination that matches your level and how much time you have.

Pick a word length from 5 to 12 letters. Shorter grids play fast, longer ones reward vocabulary.

Game Modes
Four optional modes let you fine-tune the challenge beyond the basic rules. Toggle accents on or off, add a countdown for extra pressure, turn on hint mode for a gentler session — or switch to dictionary mode, where every guess must be a real word and each win pays triple the points.
Play with or without accents
Play with or without accents in languages that use them. Turn them off for faster, simpler typing.
Countdown
Set a total countdown for the whole game, from 3 to 15 minutes. Faster clocks boost your score.
Hint mode
Turn on hint mode to reveal the first letter of the word, and more letters as words get longer.
Interface
Make the game look and feel right for you. Choose the keyboard layout you're used to, switch to dark mode for night sessions, pick your own tile colors, or mute the sounds — every detail stays under your control.
QWERTY Keyboard
The QWERTY layout is the default for English speakers and most international keyboards worldwide.
QWERTZ Keyboard
The QWERTZ layout swaps Y and Z, standard on German, Austrian and Swiss keyboards.
AZERTY Keyboard
The AZERTY layout is used across France and Belgium, with dedicated keys for accented letters.
Native Keyboard
Use your device's native keyboard if our in-game keyboard doesn't work properly on your phone.
Colored Keyboard
Color each key as you play, so you instantly see which letters are placed, present or missing.
Dark mode
Click the button in the top right corner to switch between dark and light mode
Sound
Toggle game sounds on or off. Useful when you want to play silently at night or in public.
Tile colors
Pick your own tile colors for correct, present and missing letters. Handy for color-blind players.

WordsPuzzler skill isn't local: it compares a Portuguese player to an Italian player on the same scale, because each language is weighted by its actual difficulty. Rankings update with every game, at your own pace — no need to be online at the same time as your opponents.
